Thank you - Thank you to each and every one of you - the 1,535 supporters in Ward 3 who voted for me in this year's Municipal Election.

Your support is very much appreciated! It is incredible to know that in only 6 weeks so many residents from the people who know me, to the many I have only recently met during this campaign and to many who I have never met however, through the campaign's promotional material put their trust and confidence in me to be your voice at City Hall and all voted for me.

I feel sincerely very honoured for your faith and trust in me. I look forward to connecting with as many of you as possible in the future.

I will continue to be involved in my community with the Applewood Hills & Heights Residents' Association advocating for local issues and resident concerns.

Greetings to all Ward 3 Residents,

Welcome and Thank you for visiting to learn more about me and my goals in becoming your next Ward 3 Councillor.  I would like to introduce myself and my passion for community advocacy.

​

• I have lived in the Applewood Hills area of Ward 3  for the past 24 years and am very grateful to being    a part of this great community.   

• With a genuine passion for community involvement, sharing of information and staying connected with neighbours I have always advocated for fairness, transparency and clear communication and understanding of plans and changes both within our schools as an engaged and active parent volunteer and community liaison on school councils for 8 years as well as being one of the founding and now lead members of the Applewood Hills & Heights Residents' Association.

• Being elected to represent you as your next Ward 3 Councillor would be an honour and privilege. 

• The opportunity to advocate on your behalf  for your concerns and our neighbourhoods so that all residents can enjoy their properties/homes, neighbourhoods as well as the city parks, programs and facilities and have accessibility throughout the Ward and City. 

• Plus, promoting and supporting our local Ward 3 businesses and strengthening shop local initiatives.

• Ward 3 is a great place to live, raise a family, retire in and run a business. An established 60+ year inclusive community that is growing and deserves to be represented by someone who sincerely cares and will take the time to listen to and address the concerns for all Ward 3 residents and business owners.

• Your support in voting for Athina at this year's Municipal elections either at the advance voting dates or on October 24, will allow me the opportunity to work for you and for us all!
